Zoom Teeth Whitening Perth

Zoom!™ is one of the easiest and most comfortable ways to get immediate results. Other methods like home trays, whitening strips, or whitening toothpaste can take more than a month to have any effect. Often, the results are inconsistent or only target superficial stains.

On the contrary, Zoom!™ takes no more than 2 hours and targets the deeper stains on your teeth for the best possible results.

  • The oxygen bleaches your teeth, removing deeper stains
  • Zoom!™ whitening gel containing hydrogen peroxide is applied to your teeth
  • The Zoom!™Advanced Power Chairside Lamp accelerates the bleaching process
  • As hydrogen peroxide breaks down, oxygen enters your teeth enamel and deeper stains.

How does Zoom!™ work?

The Zoom!™ light-activated whitening gel’s active ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide. As the Hydrogen Peroxide gel is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin bleaching colored substances, while the structure of the tooth is unchanged.

The Zoom!™ procedure requires that all soft tissue in and around the mouth be protected. The clinician is required to monitor the procedure to insure any exposed skin or tissue is isolated and protected. Protective eyewear is required during the procedure. Light sensitive individuals including those undergoing PUVA therapy (Psoralen+UV Radiation) or other photochemotherapy, as well as patients with melanoma, should not undergo the Zoom!™ in-office procedure. Also, patients taking any light sensitive drugs or substances, whether over-the-counter, prescription or homeopathic, should consult their primary physician prior to procedure.

The complete procedure takes just over an hour. The procedure begins with a preparation period followed by one hour of bleaching. A five minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. (A cleaning is recommended prior to the actual Zoom!™ Whitening session).

What causes tooth discolouration?

There are many patients who can benefit from teeth whitening. Oftentimes, our everyday habits contribute to the darkening and staining of our teeth. Habits like coffee and tea drinking, red wine, soda, and cigarette smoking usually have an impact on your teeth.

Our dentists exam your mouth to determine if Zoom!™ will help you. The exam includes a shade assessment to see how dark your stains are. If you have existing dental work like crowns and veneers, these will not respond to the whitening treatment.

Are you ready to reverse the effects of your daily habits? Try our Zoom!™ teeth whitening in Perth to make all your stains vanish! Talk to us today to enquire about our advanced whitening procedures and we will be happy to answer your questions.
